Frank Moriya


As Treasurer/CFO, Frank’s primary responsibility is the custodial duty of maintaining and investing the chapter’s fund, principally comprised of the membership dues collected by AMAHQ and the revenues generated by the chapter’s activities and the contributions made by local sponsors. He has been AMA member over 50 years and for the last several years, served in this capacity.

Frank spent his entire career in the academic world, first as Henry Littlefield Professor of Marketing, then, dean of the School of Business and senior vice president at the University of Bridgeport. He was also appointed as Mellon Faculty Fellow at the Economic Growth Center of Yale University, a member of Conn. State Export Council, and was a founding member of the Academy of International Business at NYU, and of the Association of Japanese Business Studies at the Wharton School.
